- Why is your program to cut our debt better than your opponents?
- My program to decrease our national debt is better than my opponents. I plan to decrease all deficit spendings. Any programs that include spending for unnecessary advancements. An example of this would be the decrease in our space research programs since there is a lack in a race to space unlike our past which caused the increase in funding towards programs linked to space research.
- How do you plan to tackle the issue of outsourcing?
- My plan is to slowly eliminate outsourcing and create jobs for the American citizens. We will insure that the American citizens are put first with job opportunities. This will benefit the United States since it will help decrease the amount of unemployed and with more people now having money the more they will be able to spend which partly goes towards the government.
- What programs do you intend to cut to decrease our deficit? Are their consequences to your actions?
- I plan to decrease our general science and space programs spendings by 1.7 billion since currently there is no competition or race to space like there has been in the past with competing countries. We will be cutting parts of national defense. Approximately 15 billion to decrease things such as nuclear weapons since they can no longer be used as a part of our defense in war.
- In addition to continuing airstrikes, do you intend to place ground troops in Syria and Iraq to combat ISIS?
- We are not going to place ground troops in Syria and Iraq due to the dangerous conditions for our military. We do not want our army near Syria and Iraq’s people, as they are hostile towards our military. ISIS is a major threat to our military. One major threat is social media. ISIS shows our military’s deaths by videotaping them and streaming those videos online (youtube, google, etc.). To this reason, we are not going to post ground troops. Our military deserve to be respected. We will continue with airstrikes as our defense and tactic to defeat ISIS.
- Why is your plan to combat ISIS better than your opponents?
- Our plan to combat ISIS is better than my opponents. We plan to continue with airstrikes and limit our amount of ground troops. Our plan is better since we plan on limiting ground troops which risks less lives of our military people than is necessary. Airstrikes will continue advancing us on getting closer to defeating ISIS. Our hopes are that this weakens ISIS and prevents them from growing which then would also help protect American citizens.
- President Obama has decided not to withdraw the remaining troops from Afghanistan as originally promised?
- We plan to keep the remaining troops where they are in Afghanistan. We plan on doing this because by using our troops to help train their troops it excels the likely of there to be an end to ISIS. We will keep some troops there since we both have the same plan of defeating ISIS. We have helped their nation stabilize as we have assisted them in growing their defense and protection of their people.
- Do you believe that the UNited States has a responsibility to help the people living in war torn Syria? If so, how does your administration plan to assist?
- I feel that the United States does have a responsibility to care for the war torn Syrian people. Since we have been continuing with airstrikes we are the reason why part of their home is destroyed. Since we are the reason for this we must sympathized for them and slowly but steadily providing aid for the innocent people.
Education
- How do you plan to evaluate America’s students to ensure that they are college and career ready when they graduate from High School?
- To ensure America’s students college and career readiness, we will acquire two teaches, that will be placed in each classroom, to make sure our students have the best education possible. We will accommodate this by allowing internships to in school or out of school college students. Our plan will help our students by working one on one. One teacher will be in charge while the other teacher will walk around the room making sure all of the students are familiar with the material. This will help our students to be more informed with new material and will help each student progress in their studies.
- How do you plan to ensure that American students receive the best education ever?
- One way we will ensure students are receiving the best education possible is by getting the best teachers possible. The best of the graduating college classes will be given the opportunity to become teachers. We need the best of the best in order to teach the best.
- 3. Why is your plan to reform America's education better than your opponents?
- My plan to reform America’s education is better than my opponents because we will ensure that students have the best teachers possible.
- How do you plan to motivate America’s students to become more invested in their education?
- We know how hard it can be to motivate someone who doesn't have an interest. We plan to increase the interest in school and education by making school an interest in all students. Showing them what it can truly do for your future.
- How do you plan to ensure the best teachers are in the classroom?
- People that want to go into the teaching profession must continue taking a certain tests and must score a certain test score in order to qualify and get a teaching job. We will encourage the best of college classes by offering scholarships to pay for teachers classes they need for their degree.
- How do you motivate the unmotivated student?
- Students must value their education. Accommodations must be reached for the students in order for them to feel the need and want to go to school and be motivated.
Chelsea For Secretary
Education
As secretary of education I truly believe that Meghan as president Sylvana as Vice President and me as secretary we can improve the American education system. America used to be ranked number one in education and it's our plan to bring America back to the top.
- Our media consistently claims there is an education crisis in the United States. What information can provide to refute this statement?
- Our college universities still rank higher than the rest of the world
- Online education is easier to come across
- Students have the ability to take classes in line with their talents
- How does your administration plan to increase the nation’s high school completion rate, which is currently 80%?
- We will make adults and children value the idea of education more
- Make sure it is everyone's top priority by marketing ideas of a better lifestyle
- We will make adults and children value the idea of education more
- We are against standardized testing. Standardized testing does not serve a purpose. Some kids are not good test takers and it just causes stress on the children
- students can spend over 110 hours per year doing test prep, and as many as 50 hours per year taking the tests themselves, a total of roughly 15 percent of their instructional time. They could of been using that time in school to actually learn instead of prepping for a test.
- Positive: 1.We can see how well or poorly a student is doing in a certain subject. 2. We can rank how well students do in certain schools or how poorly they do.
- Negative:1. It causes unnecessary stress on students. 2. Some kids are not good test takers and won't get good enough grades on these test. 3. These test take up too much time to prepare for and teachers only teach the curriculum of the test to ensure their students perform well.
- Observations in class and more hands on work to make sure the students are learning and understanding the information.
- Let students choose some classes that interest them. When in 11th and 12th grade students will have a more free schedule and strict due dates for class projects or assignments to make sure they get used to getting assignments done in a timely fashion.
- A slight increase in taxes to help lower the price of college.
- Give more money for educational scholarships.
- No, because sadly in different types of neighborhoods students don't get the same education. In the more poor towns kids don't have the same education due to the lack of money in the town.
- Due to my experience I believe we can fix American education. We will ensure all students have the proper school supplies they need to succeed. We will take ideas from Finland to improve our education system. Students will have the same teacher for elementary school so the teacher knows exactly how to help the child.
1.What role does your administration believe the United States should play in regards to international conflict?
- We believe that we should not get involved in international conflicts ex.:
- Syria: The United States should not get involved with Syria’s current conflict of their war between their government and their people. If we were to get involved it would not benefit us in any way only hurt us if for instance they took our weapons we may have provided for them and used it against opposing forces or possibly our own troops. We would not want to spend money and have is wasted on anything being used in the wrong way and we wouldn't want to put any troops in danger. All of this goes towards any other types of international conflicts that may not involve us.
- Systematic campaign of airstrikes
- Increase in support of ground troops fighting ISIS
- Drawing on our substantial counterterrorism capabilities to prevent ISIL attacks
- Providing humanitarian assistance to innocent civilians displaced by ISIL
How will your administration eliminate
- We, as a team, mainly agree with Obama’s methods of combatting ISIS as we want to continue with airstrikes and lessening the amount of ground troops will giving the small amount of ground troops there are, support and aid.
- We will continue airstrikes and we will be removing all ground troops. In hopes that with our allies we will end ISIS.
- Disagree. Ground troops should be removed from Afghanistan and we will supply the Afghan army with weapons and tools to take down ISIS
- The war in Afghanistan has been going on for many years now, and our plan is to slowly remove more and more troops out of Afghan to lesson the war and our involvement.
- We will have the top security in all major cities and have high security watching what people say/do online if they are a suspect of terrorism or being involved in terrorism in anyway.
- Americans should trust us to protect them because we know what we are doing and we only will do what's best for the United States.
- America doesn't have the best image in other countries due to the U.S constant involvement in other country affairs. We plan on decreasing international affairs and hopefully making america's world image better.
1.. Our nation is currently over 19 trillion dollars in debt. How does your administration plan to decrease this debt?
- Our administration plans to cut unnecessary spending in certain areas.
The three programs were are cutting are our National Defense, International Defense, and the General Science, Space, and Technology.
- Obama is currently spending $618.2 billion dollars on our National Defense, but why spend that much? The United States doesn't need any more nuclear weapons as they are dangerous and life threatening. Out of every war we had the Unites States only used nuclear weapons twice. Once on August 6, 1945 and the second time on August 9, 1945 on the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. We will cut down our national defense to $570.5 billion dollars, because if we aren’t aren’t using them, why make more?
- Obama is currently spending $56.7 billion dollars on International Affairs. We plan to cut this program to $52.5 billion dollars because we need to support ourselves rather than other countries.
- Lastly, we will cut the General Science, Space and Technology program. The United States hasn't had any space activity since 1969 from 1972 and we clearly don’t have any interest in space activity. We are cutting this program from $30.0 to $25.0 because of this reason.
- The US unemployment rate fell to 4.9 percent in October 2016 from 5 percent in the previous month and in line with market expectations.
- Obama made the U-6 plan. The U-6 statistic tries to capture a broader picture of labor-market weakness than the more familiar unemployment rate. It takes into account not just people who are unemployed but also people working part-time who would rather have full-time work, as well as people who have stopped looking for work but would begin to look again if labor-market conditions improved.
- We plan to fix the unemployment rate by ending outsourcing. By ending outsourcing, we can build industries and factories here to help out our fellow Americans receive jobs.
- I will create the Fast Act. Our Fast act will end out outsourcing and will open more jobs to the American people.
- Yes, I believe the wealthy should pay more in taxes rather than the middle class.
- Our wealthy people have the money to pay more taxes, so why tax the same amount to our middle class people?
- Outsourcing is to obtain (goods or a service) from an outside or foreign supplier, especially in place of an internal source. We plan to address outsourcing by ending it.
- Like I said in the previous question, the Fast Act will open up more opportunities for employment. We will build factories here to manufacture goods instead of using China as our resource.
- Because we are one of you and we want you to succeed. With Meghan as president and Sylvana for vice president, we will work together to conquer America.
Presidential Speech Hello fellow American citizens. My name is Meghan Brown. I am here in front of you today to tell you a couple of reasons why I am capable of being your next President of The United States. As a president one must posses certain characteristics. I contain the perfect characteristics as I am strong minded, bright, well educated, loyal, respectful, accommodating and a great leader. I was born and raised here in Bellmore New York in a middle class family. I often hear multiple complaints and opinions about Presidents and as a great listener, I plan to listen to all of the concerns our American citizens have and to do my best to fix them.
I have many plans to help combat our major issues. ISIS currently has raised many concerns for our national security as they continue to threaten us with their acts of terrorism like the recent attack at Ohio State University where the attacker was influenced by the terrorist group. We will continue with airstrikes that will be aimed towards ISIS grounds and people and no longer send any ground troops. While we continue to think about the security of ourselves we must think of the innocent people of Syria that face the horrors of the war as their homes and everyday life styles are destroyed. We must welcome these Syrian refugees and save them from their harsh conditions. Vigorous and intensive background checks will be given before allowing refugees into our country. These refugees after settling in their new homes here will be given the same opportunity for jobs and an education that we are all given.
Now you may be thinking about how our nation can afford this. My plan is to alter our national budget leaving room to support the people who need it most. Since we plan on lessening our amount of ground troops our national defense will be cut from $618.2 billion to $570.5 billion. This cuts the unneccessary weaponry making lessening the surplus of weapons. Along with the defense budget we will cut part of the international affairs budget from $56.5 billion to $52.5 billion. This is necessary since everyone on our home land needs to be put first and accommodated for. I plan to decrease the general science, space and technology budget from $30 billion to $25 billion as currently the competitive need for these advancements has died down.
As I have addressed to you two of our major problems now I must address our biggest and most important issue… our education. The people of America do not value education as much as it needs to be valued. It is often looked past and not evaluated deeply. I plan to change your minds. Education is the most important factor to all our lives as American citizens. To some this opportunity may not come as easily whether it be too costly or personally it just does not appeal to them. The first thing that will need to be done is attract the most qualified people to become teachers. Teachers do not get enough credit for the work they do in crafting our children. Higher pay will be available to teachers as they deserve every penny of it. Education is the best thing our country needs in order to enhance everything that makes us a country. Students must value their own education more and see that it truly can be for them. I will be riding of assessments such as SAT’s and ACT’s and other standardized tests since the majority of the time this truly does not define who the student is. We will accommodate to all types of situations that students are put in to make sure that our children get the best education for the best future. All schools will be given an equal budget based on their population not their location in order to adjust their system to the needs of their students.
All of these issues I have addressed I feel very strongly about and truly believe that if you vote for me for President of the United States it will be a time for greatness.

Vice Presidential Speech
Hi, my name is Sylvana DelPrete and I want to be your Vice President. I grew up in North Bellmore New York as a middle class citizen. Ever since I was a kid I've always been strong minded, determined, trustworthy, and most importantly a leader. These traits have reflected the person I am today and also reflects the motivation I have towards my school work, job, and committed programs. It is my responsibility to have my school work done, to show up for work on time, to study and to recieve good grades. All of these responsibilities take time and effort to accomplish, which I will be pursuing when elected vice president. Two major accomplishments I've made are being inducted into national art honor society and being on honor roll throughout my four years of high school. All of these traits and accomplishments are reasons why I should be elected as your vice president.
Some of America's past presidents have been unforgettable leaders. One leader I admire is John F. Kennedy. JFK was strong, loyal, and trustworthy for his people and I plan on carrying these characteristics as your vice president. In today’s society, education has been a major issue in the United States. Our students are failing to see the importance of learning and we need to work together to fix it. We must ensure that our kids have the best teachers they deserve. John F. Kennedy proposed a comprehensive balance plan to enlarge the Federal Government's investment in the education of its citizens. This program aimed at increasing the educational opportunities of potentially every American citizen, race, religion, income and educational achievement. This program has been shaped to meet goals on the basis of 3 fundamental guidelines: 1. viewing educational opportunity as a life-long process, starting with pre-school training and extending through college, 2. a selective application of Federal aid, aimed at strengthening school systems, and aimed at meeting the most urgent education problems and objectives and including quality improvement. And lastly number 3. teacher training and shortages of educational facilities. JFK’s education comprehensive program will strengthen our students future and will give them the chance to grow as strong, independent individuals. I believe this plan will increase our graduation rate and inspire students to value their education. In 1961 John F. Kennedy Created the Peace Corps. This foreign policy consisted of mostly youthful volunteers carrying American energy and skills directly to the people of poor nations. They lived with those people in their villages, spoke their languages, helped them develop their natural and human resources, and received compensation plus the satisfaction of helping others. The Peace Corps became in time, the symbol of JFK’s hope and promise, which I want to continue to pursue. The Syrian refugee crisis will no longer be present if we continue Kennedy's foreign policy. Lastly, the economy. During the four years and after John Kennedy's term, the US experienced the longest and strongest economic expansion in this nation's modern history. The GDP (gross domestic product) increased more in 4 years than it had in the previous 8. By 1964, a record $100 billion, 16% growth in the nation's total output had provided more than 2.75 million more jobs and a record rise in labor income. The amount of idle manufacturing capacity had been reduced by half, and for the first time, the 70-million-job barrier had been shattered. I believe we should continue these policies to make America stronger.
American should go out and vote Megan for president and Sylvana for vice president because we can conquer America together. Thank you and I look forward to being your future vice president.
